Project
Bunyas to Border Project Collaboration
In 2023, Crows Nest Environmental Ltd (CNE) entered into a partnership and collaborative arrangement within the Bunyas to Border Project (B2B).
This significant project has seen CNE collaborate with the Lockyer Uplands Catchments Inc (LUCI), Friends of the Forest (FotF) Leaftail Environmental and the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ) to install and monitor nesting boxes on the Dingo Mountain site.
Since the installation of the initial nesting boxes and cameras, a significant expansion in the work and project collaboration has occurred.
Additional cameras have been installed thanks to International Fund for Animal Welfare, Friends of the Forest (Somerset Region) and an increase in the management and analysis of the monitoring data thanks to Leaftail Environmental and UniSQ.
The data has shown that there is Greater Glider activity within the Dingo Mountain site.
